On Thursday, June 6, we launched new service connecting Durango, Mexico (DGO) to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). This is the 22nd destination for American in Mexico, just one of more than 1,000 daily flights operated by Envoy and one of 25 new routes that American launched last week.
“It was a great startup operation with a challenging 33 minute turn, but our team was ready,” said Envoy Vice President, International Operations, Jorge Ramirez-Blanco. “The Governor of the state of Durango, the Secretary of Tourism, local media, travel agencies and many other dignitaries attended the event to make this inaugural flight a huge success.”
