From Sky Caps assisting customers with their bags, to providing security searches for inbound Cuba flights since 2017, to taking over wheelchair service in 2018, to new Envoy-operated Embraer 175 flying out of the hub since April of this year, the Envoy team in Miami (MIA) is constantly looking for new ways to support the American Airlines Group (AAG) operation at this important hub.
With the launch of American’s new route from Miami (MIA) to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) last week, Envoy’s Cuba security search team stepped up to the challenge of providing their services for this new route in American’s network.
As Envoy MIA Vice President, Migdoel Rosa explains, “Earning new business from American shows the deep level of trust that the Envoy team has built over the years. A special thank you goes out to Envoy Airport Services Manager Watsen Gilles, Envoy Supervisors Donald Gelin and Salima Medina and Instructors Jason Fernandez and Lina Calderon who worked closely with American Airlines, the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies to ensure that the team successfully stepped up to its new task. We’re all proud of the work that they’re doing.”
Flights between MIA and TLV are now on sale and American currently operates flights three times per week. Way to go, team MIA and thank you to everyone working hard to support American’s new schedule.
