In late October, Envoy proudly participated as an Eagle sponsor at the third-annual Francesca Norris Memorial Golf Scramble. In addition to sponsoring the event, Envoy supported key contest holes including the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin challenges.
This annual tournament is held in memory of Francesca Norris, with proceeds dedicated to awarding scholarships to women pursuing their dreams of becoming airline pilots. The scholarships are a lasting tribute to Francesca’s legacy and aim to empower the next generation of women in aviation.
The tournament was filled with camaraderie, competition and inspiration as attendees celebrated Francesca’s vision and the women who are breaking barriers in the aviation industry. After the tournament, participants gathered for a celebratory dinner in the clubhouse, where members of the Envoy Flight team awarded incoming Envoy Pilot Trainee Katherine Mills with a training class date, marking a significant step in her journey toward a career as a professional pilot. This was a special moment for Katherine, who had been mentored by Francesca’s father and had previously received the Francesca Norris Scholarship. Congratulations Katherine!
