This week, members of the Envoy Culture, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (CDIAC) and Women of Envoy (WE) hosted a Holiday Food Drive at Envoy Headquarters in support of Keene Junior High in Keene, TX. Thanks to the generous donations made by Envoy employees and those who volunteered, they were able to sort, pack and deliver hundreds of food items.
After a successful school supply drive in August, where CDIAC members delivered 40 boxes full of the teachers’ most requested items to the Keene Junior High faculty before their first day of school, volunteers from WE decided to join in with the efforts for another round of donations, this time making support during the upcoming holiday season a priority.
“Volunteering not only helps those in the community, but it also supports and strengthens relationships at work,” said Miranda Key, Envoy Benefits Administration Specialist and CDIAC member. “It brings us together, inspires collaboration and makes a difference.”
We’re thankful for the generous food donations from DFW and EHQ-based Envoy employees, the CDIAC and WE team members who volunteered their time!
