Video: 36th Annual Women in Aviation International Conference Recap

Women in Aviation International (WAI) held another successful annual gathering last month at the 36th Annual Women in Aviation International Conference at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Denver, Colo. The three-day event had nearly 5,000 attendees from 34 countries and focused on professional development, education seminars, mentorship, and scholarship awards.

Envoy was proud to be a Presenting Gold Sponsor of this year’s conference and was one of the 170 exhibitors who attended to network and recruit highly qualified talent to the company and offer support to aspiring aviators. In addition to our recruiting team, representatives from our Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRG), the Women of Envoy (WE) and the Culture, Respect & Engagement @ Work (CREW) were in attendance.

The conference concluded on with a Girls in Aviation Day event where more than 250 girls, ages eight to 18, visited over 30 activity stations, heard about six different aviation careers from “The Sky is Unlimited” career panel, met multiple role models, and had fun while they learned about aviation and aerospace. The older girls had the opportunity to meet with representatives about their aviation-focused programs from over 15 participants including many of Envoy’s partner universities and flight schools.

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s WAI conference and represented Envoy!
