D Magazine recently announced Envoy Senior Vice President of Legal, Labor and Employment, Chris Pappaioanou as a finalist for the 2023 D CEO Corporate Counsel Award – his second time reaching this achievement. In 2021, Chris was not only named a finalist, but won the Corporate Counsel Award as well – fingers crossed for another win this year!

Now in its fourteenth year, the D CEO program honors exceptional in-house attorneys throughout the North Texas region.

The award is based on “professional achievements, impact on the community, and advocacy of their profession,” according to D CEO magazine. “(The Corporate Counsel’s) job is to keep the company inside the legal bounds while looking for new opportunities to get an edge against the competition.”

Winners in several categories like Outstanding Community Service Award and Outstanding Up-and-Comer will be announced in October. Until then, congratulations and best of luck, Chris!
