Three CHeerS for CHS

Earlier this month, the Envoy and American Airlines teams at Charleston International Airport, S.C. (CHS) got together in between aircraft turns to celebrate their collective win of the American Airlines Customer Cup for the third quarter of 2024 (3Q24).

If reading that gave you déjà vu, it’s because this isn’t the first, second or even third time we’ve recognized team CHS for bringing home this prestigious award. In fact, though this was their third consecutive win, the traveling Customer Cup has called CHS home for an impressive four times since 3Q23 and five times overall.

“With your controllable on-time turns and departures, the number of passengers you assisted, and the average amount of time it took for you to get everyone, you all set multiple records for the third quarter,” said Scott Clementi, American Airlines Managing Director, Southeastern Region. “You’re doing all sorts of great things here in CHS, and on top of that, you’re sustaining it month after month.”

To celebrate their win, the teams took a break from breaking records and shared a catered lunch of salad, pasta and cannoli, while they met with members of Envoy and American’s leadership teams who extended their gratitude and congratulations to the group.

“Your communication skills and ability to work well with one another play a major role in your success here,” said Seth Haldeman, Envoy CHS General Manager. “I’m so proud of you for keeping the cup here for another quarter.”

With three back-to-back wins under their belt, we’re ready to see if they can pull out another win for 4Q24 and keep the Cup on display for another three months. Congratulations and good luck, Team CHS!
