From managing company accounts to creating movie magic on set, Envoy Accounts Payable Clerk Brianna Robinson has crafted a career path that’s anything but ordinary. In this edition of our “Double Life” series, we catch up with Brianna to learn how she balances her dual roles and finds fulfillment in both.
How it all started
Brianna joined Envoy in 2022, drawn by her love for travel and the opportunity to grow a career in aviation. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, she plays a key role in ensuring the Company’s financial operations run smoothly—all while fueling her passion for exploring new destinations.
“As someone who loves to travel, working in aviation has allowed me to pursue a career while still satisfying my explorations,” said Brianna.
Brianna’s journey doesn’t stop at numbers and spreadsheets; she’s also a professional makeup artist for film and TV, which is a passion she turned into a second career in 2020 after connecting with a local TV network.
Lights, camera, makeup!
What started as a single outreach to a TV station soon blossomed into a flourishing career in the entertainment industry. Working on set, Brianna built her skills, expanded her network and seized new opportunities that ultimately led to her Hollywood debut.
“I’ve always dreamed of seeing my name in movie credits as a makeup artist,” Brianna said. “That first TV job helped me develop my craft and gain the confidence to pursue bigger productions.”
Her most unforgettable project? Working on the set of Lawmen: Bass Reeves, a spinoff of the hit series Yellowstone.
“It was my first Hollywood production,” Brianna said. “As a ’90s kid who grew up watching The Parent Trap, it was surreal to work alongside Dennis Quaid.”
The best of both worlds
Balancing two demanding careers is no easy feat, but Brianna makes it work through sheer passion and determination.
“Even though I typically work seven days a week, managing both jobs comes naturally because I love what I do,” she said.
At Envoy, Brianna finds more than just a job. She’s found a supportive community.
“My favorite part about working at Envoy is the sense of community,” Brianna said. “The Company organizes fun events throughout the year where employees can connect and build friendships. My team feels like extended family.”
Brianna’s story shows what’s may be possible when you pursue your passions wholeheartedly. Her advice for anyone considering a career at Envoy? “Go for it.”
“Apply for the role, even if you don’t have all the experience listed,” she said. “Show up with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. It goes a long way!”
