Last month, Envoy and American partnered with the Pat Tillman Foundation and the Adaptive Training Foundation to help veterans, first responders and other recently-injured people to participate in a wide range of activities, including the 14th annual, 4.2 mile “Pat’s Run” event in Tempe, Arizona. A special, Envoy-operated Embraer 175 took participants from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Phoenix (PHX) and back again after the event.
“This trip was a huge morale booster for everyone involved,” said Envoy Training Specialist, Brian Anderson, who helped organize and volunteer on the charter. “The weekend involved training activities, off-roading in the Arizona desert, Pat’s Run and more. Organizations like these are crucial in helping recently injured veterans and first responders adapt to their new life, and show them what they can do.”
Envoy is proud to partner with organizations that work to empower those who have served our country and given so much to keep us safe. Thank you to our crews and volunteers who made this charter trip a success.
